People are now struggling very hard to save on anything. It could be food, fuel, energy and also money.
Before people just spend without realising that they had burst their credit card limit or their bank balances are now at their lowest or near zero. For some, spending could be a hoppy and they enjoy doing it. Yes if you are financially sound and can well afford it. But most of us cannot afford this kind of hoppy and luxury.
Many of our household expenses are always on the rise and families with children and old folks to care for are the most affected. Therefore saving on anything is their top priority in their must do list so that they can continue to support their families. There are many ways to save:
Shopping for grocery
Buy only on offer or promotion and buy only things that is necessary. Do your grocery and marketing once a week if you can. Wholesaler will be much cheaper than the supermarkets.
Car Pooling
Share transportation for sending children to school if there are families living in the same area and going to the same school. For working people, try to use public transport or cheapest means to travel.
Stationery
Write on both sides of the paper. To save further, draft with pencils and then used pen or ball point to write for another draft before discarding.
Energy Saving
Switch to energy efficient light bulbs and by doing this you are also reducing carbon emission although it might only be a small contribution. Switch off all lights that are not in use.
